Inside the casino

Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ, inside the casino

Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ is Ktunaxa for "good food". The full-service restaurant and bar sits on a dining area raised above the gaming floor. Its menu runs from small plates and appetizers to sandwiches, salads and entrees. A full bar mixes craft cocktails.

Hours differ between the bar and the kitchen. From Sunday to Thursday the bar is open 11 am to 10:30 pm, and on Friday and Saturday 11 am to 12:30 am. The kitchen serves Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm. Sunday to Thursday it opens at 11 am, and anyone hoping for a table after 10 pm should call 250-417-2772 first. Holiday hours should be checked on casinooftherockies.ca.

Because the restaurant is inside the casino, every guest must be 19 or older and show government-issued photo ID at the door.

    Mission building

    Numa, in the Mission building

Numa Lounge & Dining takes its name from the Ktunaxa word for "thunder". It is the resort restaurant in the Mission building, not inside the casino, with views of Fisher Peak and the golf course. That building was once the St. Eugene Mission, a residential school for First Nations children of the region, and the Ktunaxa Nation has reclaimed it.

Breakfast is served every day from 7 am to 11 am. From Wednesday to Sunday the lounge opens at 4 pm and closes at 11 pm, with dinner served from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. On Monday and Tuesday evenings, dinner at the resort means Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ in the casino.

The PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge sits inside Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ. An 18-foot screen shows up to six games at once, and bets are placed at three PROLINE betting terminals. The casino calls it the first lounge of its kind in the region. Live music and shows are held in the same restaurant, with the monthly calendar on casinooftherockies.ca. Encore Rewards members get 10% off dining there, and membership is arranged at Guest Services at no cost.
